What the connection does
Enrol on a successful payment
A product maps to a Thinkific course or bundle. The buyer’s name and email go with the enrolment, so the person who paid is the person who can log in.
Revoke on refund or failed plan
Access follows the money. A refund removes it. A failed payment-plan charge can pause it. You are not writing a second automation to undo the first one.
The LMS keeps the teaching
Drip, quizzes, and the classroom stay in Thinkific. RobinCart owns the sale, the bump, the upsell, and the deadline. Neither tool has to pretend to be the other.
Set it up
01
Connect Thinkific
Authorize the site from RobinCart. You need a Thinkific admin who can grant the connection. Do this before you point a live email at the new checkout.
02
Map each product
Match the checkout product to the course or bundle it should open. A bump can map to an add-on course. An upsell can map to a second enrolment.
03
Take a test order
Buy with a real test student. Confirm they land in the right course. Refund the order and confirm access is gone. This is the whole integration.
04
Turn off the old zap
Once the test order is boring, disable the Zapier path for that product so two tools are not both trying to enrol the same person.
Why a native connection beats a middleware hop
Zapier is a reasonable way to prototype. It is a poor way to deliver a course you charge hundreds of dollars for. Tasks queue, filters drift, and a refund in the cart does not automatically mean a removal in the LMS unless someone remembered to build the reverse zap. A native Thinkific integration makes those rules part of the product instead of part of a spreadsheet.
What RobinCart does not take over
Thinkific remains the classroom. Lesson drip, communities, and quizzes stay there. RobinCart does not clone your curriculum. It makes sure the person who paid can open it, and the person who was refunded cannot.
Other LMSs follow the same shape: map a product, grant on payment, revoke when the order says to. Thinkific is the deepest of those connections and the one to read first.
